3. The Air-Club Blois-Vendôme

The local flying club is at least as old as the airfield itself. It numbers around 300 members Benevolent flying instructors help also. Flying takes place everyday, as soon as weather permits. Powered aircraft flying is the main activity. The club owns 2 DR 400, a "Dimona" motorglider and two ultralight airplanes Sopair J-300. In addition, some private aircraft are also based on the airfield.

The gliding activity is a bit lower, due to the fact that nowadays it becomes increasingly difficult to find young people interested. The tow airplane is a venerable 180 HP Rallye which was formerly state owned. Vintage 1970, but still in very good shape, because well maintained : Only a few parts are still original ! The club operates 2 two-seaters : 1 ASK 21, 1 "Marianne", as well as 5 single-seaters : 1 Ka 6 E, 1 "Astir" and 3 "Pégase". Private gliders are also based on the airfield : 1 LS 6, 1 ASW 20C, 1 Duo-Discus, 1 LS 1.
