Operating Instructions

This Internet site can be looked at under the best conditions using either the web browser Microsoft Internet Explorer ® version 3 or later, or the web browser Netscape Navigator ® version 4 or later. In any case, a browser allowing to display frames must be used.

This site has been designed for a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels with a colour depth of 24 bit (16,7 millions colours). We do not recommend to use a resolution inferior to 800 x 600 pixels and a number of colours inferior to 256.

The pages are vertically divided in two frames. The left frame always displays the table of content, while the right frame shows the page you have selected. According to the content of the right frame, adjustment to the left or right of the frame border may be necessary.

Apart from the home page, no download of picture or graphic files is mandatory, this to minimize the download time of the pages and your phone bill accordingly. However, a great number of photos are included in this site, which are available at your own discretion through hyperlinks in the text. These picture files are all in JPEG (ending .jpg) format and are 50 KB big in average.

Once you have opened a page including a graphic or a photograph, you can return to the text using the "back" button of your browser or follow the instructions eventually displaid on the page itself.
